CDS Delivery system is very effective for encapsulating alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), maintaining low pH levels, reducing necessary dosage and allowing physiological pH formulations.

It contains phospholipids and ceramides that rapidly repair AHA-induced damage, enhancing skin barrier recovery and improving tolerance.

Vegan CDS Delivery System

Mandelic acid, an Alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from almonds, is less penetrating and irritating than glycolic acid due to its higher molecular weight.

It’s suitable for moderately sensitive skin and stimulates cell renewal, improving skin texture and luminosity while aiding collagen and elastin production.

With a pKa of 3.51, it quickly dissociates above pH 2.5 levels, requiring very low pH levels for effectiveness.

Concentration alone doesn’t guarantee efficiency; efficacy depends on the pH level of the formulation.
