What it does in our skin?
Piroctone Olamine is a compound used to treat skin and
scalp conditions by controlling excessive cell production,
reducing flakiness, and normalizing renewal cycles.
It has antibacterial and antifungal properties, particularly effective against Pityrosporum Ovale, the fungus responsible for dandruff. This makes it a safer alternative to Zinc Pyrithione,
with the added benefit of reducing itching.
