What it does in our skin?
Zinc PCA is a doubly active complex, combining the benefits
of zinc and L-PCA (pyrrolidine carboxylic acid).
Zinc plays a crucial role in nucleic acid synthesis, protein synthesis, cell division, and has antiseptic properties that prevent microbial infections.
Additionally, it inhibits 5 α reductase, reducing sebum secretion. When combined with L-PCA, it acts as a physiological vector, optimizing bioavailability and serving as a signaling molecule to stimulate epidermal differentiation and enhance the skin barrier function.
